2005 El Dorado Late Harvest Zinfandel
Well, it’s back again! Harvested later in the 2005 season, this wine developed
nice round fruit notes & the addition of 15% Petite Sirah gives the wine
a tannic structure that most late harvest style wines lack. This wine is sweet, but not as sweet as your typical late harvest. We suggest
serving this wine with dark chocolate/cocoa rich deserts, or with “stinkycheese.” This wine has been the end of many evenings, but it also can start off an evening as an aperitif. Although drinking well now, it will definitely benefit with some cellar time. This Zin will be at its best in 4 to 8 years.

2005 Santa Cruz Mountains Merlot
Small Vineyards Selection
Do not let the word “Merlot” scare you away from this wine! To quote one of our wine enthusiasts, “I don’t like Merlot, but I love this one!” Made from 4 small vineyards in Los Altos, Saratoga & Monte Sereno, this wine is the culmination of the intricacies of these vineyards. Planted, managed & harvested by our able crew, these grapes were given the amount of sun exposure which we desired, as well as harvested at our precise levels. This allowed us to make an expressive Merlot. It is full in the mouth with excellent texture, as well as great briar fruit notes all of which are supported by a firm, yet balanced tannic structure. Drinking well now, but at it’s best over the next 2 to 4 years.

Varietal Composition : 94% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon

2006 Petite Sirah
Our Petite Sirah is harvested from a beautiful vineyard nestled in a valley
in the coastal range. Every vine was head-trained, meaning there are no
wires in the vineyard. Using this method translates to vines that only
producing as much fruit as they can physically hold up, a process which
gives intense varietal character to the wine. Petite Sirah is a misnomer; in
actuality this wine is huge and goes great with tomatoes sauces and other
intense avor foods. is Petite Sirah wine will continue to improve and
evolve over the next 8 to 10 years.
